TESTIMONIALS:
I have had a close working relationship with Logging Down Under (LDU) in my capacity as Mining Support/Technical Services Manager since their inception 8 years ago and with its’ Director Steve Webb for well over a decade.
I can state without reservation that LDU strive to supply a top quality service with not only great hardware and very good software but exceptional customer service. Few suppliers could claim the safety record that LDU can over a similar length of time.
LDU ran the downhole geophysical survey program we commissioned at Curragh Mine in the southern extents of the Permian coal measures of the Bowen Basin, Queensland. This is a multi-seam suite with variable depth of cover.
LDU were required to take part in the competitive tender process and were successful. The staff adhered to the site safety requirements and all contractual obligations. They were always professional in their dealings and at all times were enthusiastic in trying to provide the best possible data.
I can highly recommend Logging Down Under as a company that you can rely on their products and services.
I have utilised Logging Down Under for both mine-site and remote exploration down hole logging. The safety and professionalism shown by the LDU crews is exemplary, from mobilisation to the final product.
Our company has worked with Logging Down Under (LDU) since their inception in 2007. As a small family company, LDU has concentrated on providing the highest level of service to their clients and, as such have grown the business from a single unit to a three unit operation. In the expansion phase they concentrated on building and equipping each unit with common tools to enable seamless transition between logging units. The GeoVista logging tools have proven reliable over the time they have been used by Logging Down Under.
All operators are well trained in WellCad and this is the primary presentation software. Logging Down Under is not afraid to use other experts for interpretation of logs from outside the conventional suite.
LDU stands apart from other logging companies we have used because they provide prompt service as and when requested, including late callouts which may involve logging well into the night. They are willing to work diligently to log available holes even though overtime may be required to complete a hole. They have provided QGESS with excellent logs from holes in excess of 500m depth.
Their safety record is impeccable with no LTI’s in their history. Care is taken to discuss drill hole conditions with the drillers and this limits the amount of downtime due to tools being stuck in the hole.
All operators have a good rapport with the better drilling companies and geological service providers.
QGESS is pleased to be associated with LDU and we are happy to recommend their services to anyone seeking quality logging services.
I have worked with Logging Down Under on a number of exploration projects and have always found them to be very professional and provide a first rate service. Being a small, family-owned company, they take a great deal of pride in their work and have always provided a flexible and high quality service. I have always found them to be very reliable and maintain a great level of communication. I would be happy to recommend them for any exploration project.
Stephen and his experienced team at Logging Down Under (LDU) have been exceptional to work with over the last eight and a half years. Their professional approach enables all aspects of the project to be carried out diligently; with attention to accuracy and detail. In our exploration business, the flexibility of LDU has been a real saver ensuring tricky holes are logged in good time to minimise risk of losing the hole. This is a beneficial to us and our clients. I would not hesitate to work with LDU in the future or recommend them.
